Permeability is a measure of how easily a material can be magnetized.High permeability materials,such as iron and its alloys,are commonly used in transformer cores.When the primary coil is energized,a magnetic field is created inside the iron core,which in turn induces a voltage in the secondary coil.Higher permeability allows for better magnetic coupling between the coils,resulting in higher efficiency.
