1.Shell type and core type Iron Core

The part of the windings in the core is called the"core column",and the part without the winding which only plays the role of the magnetic circuit is called the"iron yoke".Where the core surrounded the winding is called shell type;Where the winding surrounding the core column is called the core type.Shell type and core type have their own characteristics,but the transformer manufacturing process determined by the core is very different,once a structure is selected,it is difficult to turn to produce a structure.Most of the transformer cores in China are laminated cores.

2,single-phase and three-phase core

Single-phase core has a single two-column laminated core.There are five kinds of single-phase single-column side-yoke type four-column core,single-phase double-column type stacked core and single-phase radiant type stacked core.Three-phase core three-phase column type laminated core,three-phase yoke type five-column core,three-phase double frame type laminated core,three-phase reactor laminated core total four.

3,stereo and plane

The three-dimensional core column and the iron yoke are not in a plane,there are radial,involute,symmetric,because the magnetic flux distribution is more uniform,can reduce the loss;Planar core column and iron yoke in the same plane,high mechanical strength,good manufacturability.
